Transformational Theology is a profound counseling system his mentors taught him; spiritual integration counseling, also known as “soul surgery,” is a central tenet of transformational theology that facilitates recovery from and integration of traumatic experiences. Luke has dedicated his career to serving survivors affected by trauma as an ordained Christian crisis response chaplain. As an advocate for the abolition of human sex trafficking, he is ardently committed to defending the rights of women and children.[1]

Rev. Dr. Thomas Luke has 20 years of combined research on Cambodia’s child sex trafficking epidemic. His research includes the spiritual approach to integrating survivors of sexual exploitation diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder; he wrote about this approach in his Ph.D. dissertation textbook, Transformational Theology, which earned him seven distinguished Christian textbook awards. Luke was granted three additional awards for making The President’s Honor Roll for maintaining a 4.0 GPA and graduated valedictorian of his 2023 class with a summa cum laude distinction at Chaplains College School of Graduate Studies.

Christian Crisis Response Chaplain

Rev. Dr. Thomas Luke is Christian crisis response chaplain ordained by Chaplains International, Inc.[3] Rev. Dr. Thomas Luke was educated and trained to provide compassionate spiritual care to survivors of mass shootings, terrorist attacks, catastrophic disasters, and other high-trauma tragedies that can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder. He utilizes the profound counseling system his mentors taught him; spiritual integration counseling, also known as “soul surgery,” is a central tenet of transformational theology that facilitates recovery from and integration of traumatic experiences. As his specialty, he counsels the traumatized by taking the spiritual approach to integrating survivors of sexual exploitation diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder.

Corporate Chaplain

Rev. Dr. Thomas Luke is an ordained Christian chaplain who serves the local and international business community as a corporate chaplain. He hires independent contractors from third-world countries who worked for The Rev Luke Show remotely as well as staff for the editing, illustrations, and graphic designs for his textbook, Transformational Theology. Hiring these contractors and helping them to succeed is just one of the ways that he shows them the love of Father God.

Talk Show Host

From 2021-2022, Luke was the talk show host and TV producer of The Rev Luke Show, which aired during prime time every Friday at 8:00 pm EST. The show was also available via video on demand from the NOW Television Network, a Christian broadcasting network based in the United States. TV Producer

A Christian television producer is responsible to make sure the guests being interviewed have a godliness that either surpasses or equals their gifting, while never choosing gifting over godliness. It is also the responsibility of the producer to only have guests on the show that are submitted to spiritual authority (Hebrews 13:17, Ephesian 5:22-23) A producer coordinates and supervises all aspects of a production, from the creative to the administrative.
TV producers also make the financial decisions and handle contracts, talent and bargaining agreements, and other administrative details. While producers get to be in on the fun of planning and executing a production, they also deal with troubles during production and keep everything within budget.

The award also requires no less than fourteen years of research, while Dr. Luke has 20 years of combined research within the same discipline.

⦁ Luke’s Ph.D. dissertation textbook, Transformational Theology, earned him the Theologian’s Dissertation Book Award. The award is Chaplains College School of Graduate Studies’ most distinguished textbook award. This award is granted for the best theological dissertation textbook for a Ph.D. This award is granted to a published theologian who is a scholar in a discipline that requires original research that has made a significant contribution to the field of theology.

⦁ Luke is the recipient of the Distinguished Curriculum Award for writing an exemplary 20-lesson curriculum within his Ph.D. dissertation textbook, Transformational Theology.

⦁ Luke is the recipient of the Chaplain of Mercy Literary Award for his missiology research about Cambodia’s child trafficking epidemic. Luke thoroughly mapped out the various stages of rehabilitating these children after they are rescued.

⦁ Luke received the Distinguished Academic Illustration Award for his Ph.D. dissertation textbook, Transformational Theology. Luke’s illustrations successfully illuminated the text of his book manuscript.

⦁ Luke is the recipient of the Theological Practicum Award because all three survivors he counseled were healed from post-traumatic stress disorder, and two of the survivors were integrated after suffering from dissociative identity disorder within 90 days of implementation. Dr. Luke’s profoundly healing spiritual integration counseling system is a central tenet of transformational theology that facilitates recovery and integration of traumatic experiences. Luke claims that he doesn’t heal anyone and that only the Spirit of Jesus (Philippians 1:19) healed the afflicted during his theological practicum. Luke states that his contribution was learning the spiritual integration counseling system from his mentors and transferring it to academia.
