Would You Like to Enter Heaven After You Die?
- And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment.
– Hebrews 9:27, NLT - Jesus replied, “I assure you; no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.”
– John 3:5, NLT - For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.
– Romans 3:23, NLT - Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
– Ephesians 2:9, NLT - Jesus is the only One who can save people [Salvation is found/present in no one else]. ·No one else [No other name given to people] ·in the world [ under heaven] is able to save us.”
– Acts 4:12, EXB - So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day]
– Acts 3:19, AMP
Repentance
The Greek word translated “repent” is metanoeō, and it denotes a change of mind, will, or actions. Peter calls the people to believe that Jesus is the Messiah promised in the Old Testament.
Prayer of Repentance
“Dear Jesus, I confess that you are God in human form and that I am a sinner (wrong-doer) in need your forgiveness, please forgive me. Thank you for dying on the cross in my place, I open my heart to you now Lord and I invite the Holy Spirit to live inside of me, so that I may be born again John 3:7. I want to enter heaven after I die; in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Congratulations
If you have said this prayer sincerely, you have been forgiven. Congratulations! You are heaven–bound!
Philippians 3:20 (NLT), says, “But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.”
The Next Steps
Find a born-again bible-based church and get baptized in water. The Bible says, “Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” Acts 2:38, NLT.
Baptism
Baptism is meant to be a public sign of a person’s repentance. It is much like a wedding ring. The ring is an outward expression of the commitment made to a spouse, so too is baptism. Baptism outwardly expressed your internal commitment and solidarity with Christ.
