Distinguished Curriculum Award

Recognizing outstanding graduate work in curriculum writing, Chaplains College School of Graduate Studies presents the Distinguished Curriculum Award.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Graduation with a Ph.D. or Th.D. terminal degree is required.
  • The recipient must have made a substantial contribution to the academic development of theology or chaplaincy.
  • The award celebrates academicians, theologians, and chaplains who have shown excellence in a focused area of curricular study.
  • This award acknowledges the creation of curricula with practical utility for the education and training of future chaplains and professors.

Thomas Luke, Ph.D., was awarded the Distinguished Curriculum Award for the impactful twenty-lesson curriculum featured in his Ph.D. dissertation textbook, Transformational Theology.
