Dr. Thomas Luke is the recipient of the Theological Practicum Award because all three survivors he counseled were healed from post-traumatic stress disorder, and two of the survivors were integrated after suffering from dissociative identity disorder within 90 days of implementation. Dr. Luke’s profoundly healing spiritual integration counseling system is a central tenet of transformational theology that facilitates recovery and integration of traumatic experiences. Luke claims that he doesn’t heal anyone and that only the Spirit of Jesus (Philippians 1:19) healed the afflicted during his theological practicum. Luke states that his contribution was learning the spiritual integration counseling system from his mentors and transferring it to academia.
